Environmental Services Sanitation WorkerWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Environmental Services Sanitation Worker to join the facilities maintenance team in Brighton MI.Pay Range: $18.00/hr - $19.00/hr1st & 2nd Shift Openings Available:1st Shift: 7am or 8am - 3:30pm or 4:30pm2nd Shift: 4pm or 5pm - 12:30am or 1:30amThe Environmental Services Sanitation Worker will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the medical facility. Your efforts will directly contribute to the overall hygiene and safety standards of the premises, ensuring a positive experience for employees, visitors, and patients alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in cleaning practices.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and sanitize restrooms, common areas, hallways, exam rooms, surgical rooms, and pharmacy rooms in accordance with health and safety regulations.Perform routine cleaning and sanitization tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuum, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards.Clean all tools, supplies, and equipment after each use and store in their proper place.Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely.Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.Follow established cleaning procedures to ensure consistency and quality.Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.Adhere to all safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.QualificationsSanitation or cleaning experience is not required, training can be providedProven janitorial, sanitation or custodial experience - is a PLUSKnowledge of cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning equipment.Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsApply today!
