Residential Plumbing Sales Representative

Howard Air & Plumbing is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Residential Plumbing Sales Representative to join our team.

This is a true in-home sales opportunity for someone who understands residential plumbing, knows how to build trust with homeowners, and is comfortable presenting solutions ranging from everyday plumbing needs to larger home improvement projects.

We are looking for a professional salesperson who can evaluate a customer's needs, clearly explain their options, and help homeowners make confident decisions without relying on high-pressure sales tactics.

What You’ll Do

• Meet with homeowners on qualified residential plumbing sales opportunities
• Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate plumbing solutions
• Build and present multiple options based on the homeowner’s priorities, budget, and property
• Sell residential plumbing projects including:
  • Water heater replacement and upgrades
  • Tank and tankless water heaters
  • Whole-home repiping
  • Water and gas line replacement
  • Sewer repair and replacement
  • Drain and sewer solutions
  • Plumbing fixture upgrades
  • Leak and piping solutions
  • Water softeners, conditioners, and reverse-osmosis systems
  • Other residential plumbing improvement projects
• Explain financing and payment options when appropriate
• Accurately document sold work, project details, and customer expectations
• Coordinate with operations and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
• Follow up on outstanding estimates and unsold opportunities
• Maintain strong closing, average-ticket, and customer-satisfaction performance

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who already understands the residential plumbing industry and can confidently communicate value to homeowners.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous residential plumbing sales experience
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and common plumbing solutions
• Experience selling higher-ticket home improvement projects
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• The ability to create value and sell solutions rather than simply compete on price
• Confidence discussing financing and multiple-option presentations
• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
• A professional appearance and customer-first attitude
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Experience as a Plumbing Comfort Advisor, Plumbing Sales Consultant, Selling Technician, Service Plumber, or In-Home Sales Representative is highly desirable.
