Department Employee Health & Benefits Overview As the Contracting & Licensing Project Manager on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you will own and coordinate the end‑to‑end licensing and contracting workstreams. You will partner with Compliance and Licensing teams to support onboarding, updates, renewals, and documentation workflows, ensuring all work complies with applicable state and jurisdictional requirements. Responsibilities Project management & governance Build and manage project plans, timelines, risks/issues, stakeholder communications, and reporting for licensing and contracting initiatives. Coordinate cross‑functional activities across Compliance, Licensing Support, and operational teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time. Manage structured onboarding workflows, documentation collection, and data accuracy in operational systems. Maintain strong stakeholder management, written communication, and process documentation skills. Licensing operations coordination Coordinate licensing onboarding activities, including collection of required documentation and demographic/profile updates in applicable systems. Support activities such as obtaining copies of existing licenses, starting initial licensing processes, affiliating to agency licenses, and maintaining accurate colleague data needed for licensing workflows. Regulatory / controlled‑activity awareness Maintain knowledge of activities that may trigger licensing requirements and help ensure work is routed appropriately within licensed roles and processes. Process improvement & documentation Document standard operating procedures, handoffs, and controls to improve consistency, timeliness, and audit readiness for licensing and contracting work. Success measures (examples we’d expect you to help deliver) On‑time completion of licensing onboarding/renewal milestones and reduced cycle times. Fewer data/documentation defects and improved audit readiness for licensing‑related records. Additional Qualifications Experience supporting insurance producer licensing operations and understanding of regulated insurance activities. Familiarity coordinating with Compliance Specialists and Licensing Coordinators in queue‑based onboarding/verification processes.
