Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours per week, which allows for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their specific rehabilitation needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize various treatment techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor and assess patient progress regularly, documenting outcomes accurately to adjust treatment goals and methods as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, involving caregivers and other healthcare personnel, to ensure integrated care for your patients.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and use of assistive devices, empowering them in their recovery journey.
• Stay current with industry advancements by attending educational workshops and engaging with professional networks to continuously elevate the standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to those recovering from neurological conditions. Our patients are typically seeking not just recovery but a return to a fulfilling, active lifestyle. The variety in patient cases equips you with the experience necessary for professional growth while nurturing your passion for improving patients' lives.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work independently, alongside flexibility to adapt to dynamic patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, new graduates with exceptional clinical training and a strong desire to learn will also be considered.
• Experience in home health care settings is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
