Job Description

This role offers an opportunity for experienced industrial journeyman electricians licensed in Michigan to support a large manufacturing operation. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of molding, CNC, and assembly equipment, as well as auxiliaries and PLC communication systems, to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of molding, CNC, and assembly machines to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production.
• Diagnose complex equipment and system issues using electrical schematics, technical manuals, and analytical skills to identify root causes efficiently.
• Maintain, repair, and improve equipment and auxiliaries, addressing PLC communication and production issues as they arise.
• Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess system performance and verify repairs.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to support traceability and continuous improvement.
• Support field service activities as needed and collaborate closely with team members to ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Train apprentices once fully trained and proficient, sharing knowledge and best practices to develop the next generation of electricians.
• Participate in rotating weekend work (every third weekend, typically Saturdays) to support continuous plant operations.
• Follow established safety, quality, and operational standards at all times while working within the plant.

Essential Skills

• Current journeyman electrician license in the state of Michigan.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Industrial electrician experience working with manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining industrial equipment, including molding, CNC, and assembly machines.
• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and resolving PLC communication issues.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Experience with conduit installation and wiring in industrial environments.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills across hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components.

This is a Permanent position based out of Holland, MI.

The pay range for this position is $72571.00 - $72571.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Full medical benefits provided. Benefit coverage starts on day 1 of employment. 72 hours of PTO accrued. $40 a month phone allowance. Uniforms provided.

This is a fully onsite position in Holland,MI.

This position is anticipated to close on Oct 2, 2026.
