Assistant Sales Manager

The Assistant Sales Manager will help drive sales operations, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure sales efforts stay aligned with company goals. This role involves supporting daily sales activities, building relationships with OEM and Tier 1 clients, and staying current on products and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client satisfaction from initial sale through post project completion
• Support planning, coordination, and oversight of day to day sales operations
• Help achieve annual sales targets and drive revenue growth through strategic planning
• Guide and support other members of the sales team on daily activities
• Build long term client relationships and support strategic account planning
• Manage customer communication and sales opportunities across phone, email, and online portals
• Prepare sales presentations, documentation, and performance reports
• Track and analyze sales metrics, recommending improvements where needed
• Stay current on new products and share updates with the wider sales team
• Travel primarily within the US, with occasional international trips

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Prior experience in a sales support or assistant sales management role
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and performance trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer focused mindset with strong negotiation ability
• At least five years of B2B sales or customer service experience in the automotive or industrial sector, ideally including work with Tier 1 or OEM accounts

Education:

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Sales preferred

Status: Non Exempt, Full time

Salary: $35.00 - $44.00/Hour DOE
