Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Description
Serve as subject matter expert on the Federal hiring process, works closely with managers to identify and recruit top talent and assists managers in ensuring position descriptions accurately depict the required duties of positions recruited for.
Coordinate onboarding of new employees to include any sponsor assignment, sending welcome packet, and ensuring employees get access to all systems needed/required.
Develop and maintain a method to track and monitor all District onboarding actions to ensure they are completed within established timelines.
Ensure new employees complete mandatory training, new employee orientation or other human resources requirements.
Represent the District at various career and job fairs in order to advertise District job opportunities and to attract quality applicants.
Coordinate the District's Pathways Program and DA Intern Program by assisting and coordinating with management to develop student performance plans, and monitors requirements to assure continuing student eligibility.
