General Manager - Palo Alto

JETSET Pilates is a modern, music-driven Pilates brand that is one of the fastest growing concepts in Pilates fitness in the US with over 400 locations sold, and rapidly opening new studios. We are bringing JETSET Pilates to Palo Alto, CA and are looking for a dynamic General Manager to build the business in one of Bay areas hottest markets and drive an exceptional customer experience. You will be a founding member of the team and a co-architect of building the brand in Palo Alto. JETSET Pilates General Managers are committed to the growth and development of their team and are passionate about sharing the brand and workout with others. The General Manager is a strong leader who is dedicated to cultivating relationships within the studio, as well as role modeling all of the qualities and attributes of an exceptional instructor. The General Manager is expected to undergo the JETSET Pilates training program and instructs an average of 8 classes per week. The expectation of the General Manager is that in addition to instructing 8 classes per week on average, they are in the studio during class times for a minimum of 25 classes each week. The General Manager is a multi-faceted role responsible for all aspects of studio performance, growth, and people management in the studio. They are accountable for ensuring that all areas of the business are fulfilled and are driven by achieving goals and continuing growth. Duties And Responsibilities Lead the overall management of the studio, including daily operations, staff supervision, and client engagement Develop and execute strategic plans to increase membership, enhance client retention, and expand business opportunities Oversee profit and loss responsibilities, ensuring financial targets are met through effective budgeting and cost control Recruit, train, motivate, and retain high-performing team members to uphold service standards and foster a positive workplace culture Implement process improvements to optimize workflows, enhance customer experience, and streamline administrative functions Drive sales initiatives by promoting programs, workshops, and memberships to maximize revenue streams Manage business development efforts by establishing partnerships within the community and exploring new market opportunities Experience Proven management experience in a fitness or wellness environment with a track record of leading teams successfully Strong sales leader with proven track record of driving membership sales and revenues Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to inspire staff and engage clients Strong operational skills to manage day to day operations of the studio Community oriented, and ability to build strong relationships with the local community Compensation Competitive Salary commensurate with experience Performance bonus tied to membership and revenue growth Paid Time Off This role is designed to grow as we scale across multiple locations in the bay area.
