TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Spokane, Washington, 99202!

Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required in medical surgical nursing License: Valid Compact license must be in hand Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Travel nursing experience required - Charge nurse experience preferred - Experience with Epic charting system Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in a medical surgical unit. The nurse will float between units as necessary. Weekend work is required based on facility needs, with a minimum commitment of every other weekend. Expected patient-to-nurse ratios are between 6 to 8 patients. Specific skills required include management of cerebrovascular accident (CVA) patients, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE), and care for spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries. The facility offers interdisciplinary support and has 91 staffed beds. Travelers may be expected to float to nearby facilities as needed. Refusing to float may lead to termination of the assignment and loss of guaranteed hours. Candidates must commit to working three of five specified holidays. References covering one year of experience within the last three years are required prior to start. Respect and professionalism when communicating about this position are essential.
