Stationhouse Grill | Godfrey, IL
Join the dynamic team at Stationhouse Grill, where we have been serving delicious hand-tossed pizzas, hearty pastas, and a variety of Italian classics for over 47 years. As a family-owned restaurant, we pride ourselves on quality food, fast service, and creating a welcoming environment. We are looking for a passionate Cook to help us bring our signature recipes to life in our fast-paced kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas, pastas, and menu items according to Joe’s recipes and quality standards.
- Operate grills, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow portion, prep, and presentation standards for consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation.
- Assist with food prep, stocking, and rotating inventory as needed.
- Work closely with other cooks and the kitchen team to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
- Adhere to food safety and health code regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Prior cooking or kitchen experience preferred, but we’ll train motivated candidates.
- Passionate about food quality and guest satisfaction.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Dependable, hardworking, and a strong communicator.
- Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Schedule
Full-time availability required, with flexible scheduling options.
