Pest Control Field Supervisor

Job Description: Pest Control Field Supervisor – Albany, NYPay: $65,000 - $70,000 Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 10+ pest control technicians, ensuring exceptional customer experience. Recruit, hire, train, coach, and motivate the service team. Develop and implement scheduling to provide adequate coverage during peak volume periods. Efficiently schedule routes for field technicians and manage daily route optimization to achieve a 70+% tech utilization. Performance manage the service team, conducting regular meetings to assess field visits, coach staff, and address difficult client situations. Monitor Key Performance Indicators such as Tech Utilization, Tech Efficiency, Customer NPS, and Customer Retention, taking corrective action when necessary. Ensure compliance with company, OSHA, and FIFA policies, including proper technician certifications. Communicate with customers to confirm satisfaction and discuss additional services, building long‑term relationships across diverse backgrounds. Operate company‑provided vehicle safely and maintain it in accordance with Department of Transportation and company guidelines. Select appropriate products for treatments and manage materials efficiently, minimizing waste to under 5% of revenue. Coordinate proper pickup and discard of used materials. Qualifications Strong customer service orientation with a minimum of 2 years in a customer‑service role. Ability to use personal protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and written & verbal communication skills. Physical capability to walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Knowledge of tree/shrub treatment or pest‑control products and services (preferred). Successful completion of a background check and drug test. Minimum 3 years of driving experience and a valid NewYork State driver’s license. 3–5 years of experience managing a field team. Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and manage conflict with customers. Strong coaching, leadership, and motivational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other necessary technology. High school diploma or equivalent required. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
