BatcherLingo Staffing is now hiring Batcher in the Pittsburgh area to start ASAP!Batcher – Responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, mixing, and preparing raw materials according to established batch formulas and production instructions. This position operates batching and mixing equipment, follows GMP and safety procedures, completes required production documentation, and ensures each batch meets quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Pay rate & Scheduled:$17.00 – $19.00 Hourly (Based on Experience)1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM2nd Shift: Monday-Friday: 3:00PM – 11:30PMMust be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.Job Responsibilities & Requirements:Perform daily manufacturing activities including batching, mixing, labeling, packaging, and material handlingMust have 1-3 years of production or manufacturing experience required.Must have 2 plus years of Chemical manufacturing, batching, mixing, blending, or process manufacturing experience.Follow detailed batch formulations, processing instructions, and production proceduresOperate and monitor equipment used in powder and liquid processing systemsMonitor valves, product flow, temperatures, pressures, and other processing requirementsEnsure proper valve positioning and follow sequential processing stepsRead and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for materials and chemicals being handledAccurately measure and calculate materials according to batch requirementsMonitor equipment and identify potential mechanical or production issuesCommunicate any equipment, quality, or process concerns to supervisorsFollow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standardsWork closely with production team members and supervisors to meet daily production goalsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to understand pipe flow, valves, and processing systemsStrong basic math skills and ability to perform production-related calculationsAbility to read and understand: Batch formulations, Processing instructions, Safety procedures, Temperatures, pressures, and flow rates, Safety Data Sheets (SDS).Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructionsAbility to recognize and anticipate potential production or equipment issuesStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be fluent in English, both verbal and writtenMust be able to routinely lift up to 50 lbsMust be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environmentJob Id: 30261
