Unified Staffing and Recruiting is hiring a full-time Production Worker / Machine Operator for a Pittsburgh-area client. This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend work, and converts to a full Union position after 60 days. Duties include operating production machinery, loading/unloading materials, inspecting product quality, performing routine maintenance, packaging finished goods, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday | 7:30am-4pm

What You'll Do:
• Set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including CNC punch presses, hydraulic press brakes (metal brakes), and metal shears.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and shop drawings to produce parts to required specifications.
• Perform basic machine setup, tooling changes, and adjustments as required.
• Deburr, clean, and prepare fabricated parts for assembly or shipment.
• Accurately pick materials and products from inventory according to work orders and customer orders.
• Assemble products and components following work instructions and quality standards.
• Weigh, label, and prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all shipping information is accurate.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on machines and work areas.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or sheet metal fabrication environment preferred.
• Experience operating CNC punch presses, hydraulic press brakes (metal brakes), and metal shears preferred.
