Manual Machinist

Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a Manual Machinist. This position can be full or part time, your choice: a young person looking for a job in a company where he can not only hone his manual machining skills but also expand into the CNC, quality and fabrication fields of manufacturing, or a retired manual guy who is looking for part-time work. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy. Troubleshoot machining issues and perform basic repairs as needed Qualifications Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of machining processes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
