As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. You will be constantly on your feet in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude to ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. What You’ll Do Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. Conduct safety sweeps, handle and dispose of hazardous materials, spot forklifts, and correct unsafe situations. Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals and equipment. Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Environmental Sustainability Program. Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies, rotating them, storing properly, and placing orders when supplies are low. Responsibilities Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates. Provide a great first and last impression to customers. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule or specific work performed.
