The custodian plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities including office buildings, banks, and more. This position involves working both independently and as part of a team, during evening shift hours. The custodian utilizes a range of cleaning products from standard and industrial strength chemicals to green, eco-friendly solutions, ensuring all areas are sanitary and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize various facility areas including restrooms, desks, common area, and more
• Remove trash and ensure a clean work area
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper operation of cleaning tools
• Follow safety protocols to ensure compliance and a safe working environment
• Replenish supplies when needed and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Perform floor care including sweeping and mopping
• Reliably during assigned evening shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Proficient janitorial skills and equipment operation
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Knowledge and willingness to learn of safety compliance standards
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in custodial work
