Sourcing Specialist

Airswift is looking for a Sourcing Specialist to support one of our clients in Charlotte, NC. This opportunity offers involvement in complex sourcing and procurement activity for high-value equipment and services within a technically advanced environment. The role focuses on sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, contract awards, and post-award supplier management, with exposure to cross-functional stakeholder engagement and procurement operations. This company operates in a broad technology-driven landscape spanning data warehousing, enterprise data storage, business intelligence, cloud infrastructure, and related IT environments. Required Experience 10 years of relevant experience is required for candidates with a degree. 14 years of relevant experience is required for candidates without a degree. Experience developing sourcing strategies for complex, high-value equipment or services. Experience analysing supplier responses, negotiating commercial terms, and awarding contracts and agreements. Experience managing post-award supplier activities, including settlements, claims, disputes, invoice mismatches, and price changes. Experience working with cross-functional teams and engaging with supplier and manufacturer management. Required Skills Strong sourcing, procurement, and supplier management capability. Ability to develop requests for quotations and requests for proposals. Strong negotiation skills, including engagement with middle and senior supplier management. Ability to maintain effective interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers. Knowledge of commodities, sources of supply, diversity opportunities, and market conditions that may affect procurement strategy. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor degree preferred.
