Job Description

We are seeking a self-driven and hard-working Occupational Therapist with acute care experience to provide essential therapy services in a short-term acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to float between various units including Acute, Medical, ICU, and Inpatient Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with diverse diagnoses, including multi-trauma, surgical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities and quality of life.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Administer treatments in various hospital settings, adapting approaches as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Washington State OT License (in hand is required).
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience is mandatory.
• Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of functional splints, edema massage, kinesiotaping, and orthotics is highly valued.
