Associate Attorney - Commercial & Business Litigation Location: Savannah, GA 31401 | In-Person | Experience: 2-5 years | Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview A well-established law firm is seeking a Attorney Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join its litigation practice. The attorney will handle a variety of complex commercial, business, banking, real estate, and government-related disputes from initial case strategy through trial and appeal. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking meaningful responsibility, courtroom exposure, and continued development of litigation skills. Key Responsibilities Handle commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and develop case strategy. Manage discovery, including written discovery and document review. Take and defend depositions. Prepare cases for hearings and trial. Participate in trial proceedings and courtroom appearances. Prepare appellate briefs and related filings. Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and developments. Appear before Georgia Superior Courts, state courts, the Georgia State-wide Business Court, and U.S. District Courts, as applicable. Take ownership of assigned matters and work product while collaborating with senior attorneys.
