The role is responsible for the day-to-day AP function for our growing portfolio of affiliate companies, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time and maintaining vendor relationships.Responsibilities will include:* Payment Execution & Management: + Responsible for the day-to-day operation and workflow of the Accounts Payable function for affiliate companies. + Ensure the timely and accurate execution of weekly payment batches, with a focus on transitioning vendors to ACH. + Review submitted invoices for accuracy and confirmation prior to posting + Troubleshoot and resolve complex payment issues, such as vendor data discrepancies, rejected payments, and compliance flags.* Vendor Relations & Support: + Serve as the primary escalation point for all vendor payment inquiries from affiliate companies. + Manage the affiliate AP inquiry mailbox to ensure timely responses and issue resolution. + Build and maintain positive relationships with key affiliate vendors by providing responsive and professional support. + Work proactively with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and communicate payment status.* Other: + Identify and assist in implementing continuous improvements to the affiliate accounts payable process. + Administer and maintain the integrity of the accounts payable system for assigned affiliates + Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis of affiliate expenditures as needed.Qualifications & Experience* 5+ years of progressive experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment.* At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity is strongly preferred.* Deep understanding of full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, including vendor setup, invoice processing, and payment execution.* Hands-on experience with major ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.* Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.* Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex payment and vendor issues.* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-service oriented approach to working with both internal teams and external vendors.* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.#LI-LW1#HM#LI-HYBRID*Horizon Media is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
