Mentoring high potential individuals and providing input into succession planning process Establishing and setting staffing targets, and working with teams to ensure all restaurants within the patch are adequately staffed (through quality hiring and retention) to maximize sales potential Ensuring that the quality hiring process is followed; participating in making final selection decisions on all restaurant managers based on Profit Choosing the appropriate consulting approach (e.g., directive, inspiring, coaching, collaborative) based on the performance level of each General Manager Protecting the McDonald's brand by ensuring that our restaurants meet McDonald's QSC operational standards, food safety standards, and labor laws Demonstrate Customer-First Service by consistently observing restaurant operations, troubleshooting shift management, taking on-the-spot corrective actions, and recognizing successes Supports, develops and requires General Managers to teach restaurant teams to execute the 12 restaurant systems (QSC Playbook) that produce consistently high levels of QSC Ensures that PACE is completed on a rolling required cycle Represents McDonald's interest in the community (e.g., test products, promotions; and provides high level execution and performance of each test) Operations Supervisor – Full Job Description We are a family orientated Franchisee looking to add to our McFamily of Leadership! Ensure the restaurants meet or exceeds operational goals laid out in the budget which include Labor, Sales, Profit, Food Cost and all other Controllable areas. Ensure the restaurants are following all operational and company policies. Participate in the staffing process. Develop your managers to perform at the highest levels. Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Execute an operational plan. Ensure the restaurants are operating in the most effective and efficient manner. Review operational reports, analyze and develop an action plan to improve any areas that are not performing up to standards. Daily follow up on all action plans to ensure improvements. Must be able to multi-task and have great time management skills. Physical Demands And Work Environment The physical demands and work environment characteristics here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use a computer keyboard, travel to various locations, read a computer monitor, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, communicate via telephone, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally move or lift up to 30 pounds. Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, an employee will be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The environment will change from little noise in meeting situations to a high noise level in the restaurants. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Restaurant Field Operations experience or similar field Preferred Qualifications Current Management ServSafe Certification Proven project management implementation skills Strong people/relationship management skills Proven experience influencing and obtaining great results through others Strong restaurant management skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage conflicting time constraints Ability to analyze data Ability to work independently Excellent leadership skills Excellent employee relations skills Experience as a General Manager / Supervisor / District Manager of a Quick Service or Casual Dining restaurant for at least 5-10 years required.
