Job Description

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, including comprehensive physical examinations and detailed medical history reviews
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through interpretations of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement patient-specific surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative support by preparing the operating rooms, ensuring patients are correctly positioned, and effectively passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with significant surgical exposure strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
