Staff Accountant position at 8351 Boynton Beach Blvd Building F Suite 250 Boynton Beach, FL 33472. The New Haven Companies, Inc. is looking for an Staff Accountant with S Corp and multiple state experience, who will become part of an incredible team. Our accounting team gives a great deal of support to our locations. The Staff Accountant position will work alone and part of a team. This position will have a variety of duties so you will never be bored.

Responsibilities to include

*GL Account Reconciliations

* Expense GL Coding

* Recording Journal Entries 

* AP Vendor Management

* Bank Reconciliations

* Asset Tracking

* Asset Based Lending

* Tangible Personal Property Taxes

* Sales/Use Taxes – Avalara familiarity

* Accrued Expenses

* Inventory Management with Inventory Account Reconciliations

* Inventory Transfers/Production Orders

* AR Customer Cash Receipts & Posting

* AR Sales Billings

*SOP’s creation; Processes/Checklists

* System Knowledge – SPIRE, Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook

The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance with accounting standards. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the accounting department by managing day-to-day transactional activities, reconciling accounts, and adhering to General accounting accepted procedures. The Staff Accountant will collaborate closely with various teams to maintain organized financial records and support audit processes. By managing routine accounting tasks and resolving discrepancies, this role contributes to the overall financial integrity and compliance of the company. The Staff Accountant helps streamline accounting workflows, enabling timely and accurate financial decision making and reporting.
