As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Shippenville Nursing and Rehab, you will be an integral part of providing exceptional rehabilitation services to our residents. With a strong commitment to quality care and patient satisfaction, our therapy department is dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents
• Conduct occupational therapy modalities, such as exercise programs, therapeutic activities, and adaptive equipment training
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and achieve optimal outcomes
• Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on occupation-based interventions and strategies
About the Role:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will work closely with occupational therapists to provide progressive and outcome-based therapy services. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of residents and make a meaningful impact on their lives.
