About the Position:

Our client, a highly regarded Chicago boutique law firm, is seeking a real estate attorney to join its thriving commercial real estate practice as an associate or partner, depending on level of experience. This sophisticated national practice represents a diverse client base, including real estate investment trusts, developers, syndicators, high-net-worth individuals, brokerage firms, property management companies, and other commercial real estate stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

· Represent commercial clients in the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of commercial real estate assets

· Handle financing transactions on behalf of both lenders and borrowers

· Advise real estate-focused businesses and investors on a broad range of transactional matters

· Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to support clients' commercial real estate needs

Required Qualifications

· 3+ years of commercial real estate experience for associate level candidates; 15+ yrs of experience for partner-level candidates

· Experience representing clients in purchasing, selling, developing, financing, and leasing commercial real estate

· Real estate financing experience strongly preferred

· Interest in business development and client relationship management (particularly for partner-level candidates)

Compensation:

For associate candidates, the anticipated base salary range is $215,000 - $255,000.

For partner candidates, the anticipated base salary range is $250,000 - $350,000.
