Senior Accountant

A Leading Consumer Products Company located in Bergen County, NJ is searching for a Senior Accountant who will have the following responsibilities: Oversee daily general ledger operations and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping. Record and review journal entries while maintaining organized supporting schedules. Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and annual closing activities. Compile financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements. Complete account reconciliations and research discrepancies as needed. Contribute to management reporting and provide analysis of financial results. Support inventory accounting functions, including cycle count adjustments and reconciliations. Track fixed asset activity and maintain depreciation records. Coordinate audit requests and assist external auditors during annual reviews. Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting procedures and enhance operational efficiency. Qualified candidates for the Senior Accountant role should possess: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of experience Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required. The total compensation range for this opportunity is $75,000 to $85,000 plus bonus with excellent benefits.
