Company DescriptionFORTUNE 500 MANUFACTURING COMPANYJob DescriptionSenior AccountantDescriptionResponsible for items on Monthly Book-closing processFollow book closing calendar and follow up on status of book-closing processOversee and perform monthly book-closing tasks such as reconciliations (including difference investigation), clearing of pending accounts, reporting, general ledger entries etc.Manage Cash and Credit Card processes, especially manage reconciliation processGeneral Accounting• General Ledger entries• Manage Balance Sheet Accounts• Accuracy of accounting entries (account and analytical code)• Reconciliations• Bank ReconciliationsRe-invoicing and Intergroup transactionsInvolved with Fixed Asset Register and depreciationsManage Sales tax reporting (covering multiple states), taxation and actively support Managers with all tax related topicsOther responsibilities include:Documenting process and proceduresResearch chargeback's and credit card transactionsLiaise with bank and Treasury DepartmentAd-hoc projects as assigned by ManagerQualifications Knowledge and Professional skills:Perfect knowledge of local languageStrong leadership capabilitiesManage other and executionExcellent verbal and written communications skillsAccounting and Finance knowledgeCapable of analytical thinkingAbility to quickly learn new concepts and processesDrive to take initiative and to improve processes (pro-active)Attention to detail, well organizedAbility to be resilient and adaptableExcellent work ethics, trustworthy, reliableGood knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAbility to collaborate and build relationshipsRequires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 6-8 years of experience in the field.CPA degree preferred.SummaryType: Full-timeFunction: Accounting/AuditingExperience level: Mid-Senior LevelIndustry: Staffing And Recruiting
