Job Summary


We are seeking a warm, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our healthcare team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in shaping their experience. The ideal candidate excels at multitasking, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining a compassionate demeanor.


Key Responsibilities

• Patient Admissions & Check-In: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, manage the check-in and check-out process, and guide them through required paperwork.
• Information Verification: Accurately verify and update patient demographics, contact details, and insurance information within our system.
• Scheduling Management: Efficiently answer multi-line phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments, and optimize the daily clinic calendar.
• Payment Collection: Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service, and accurately document transactions.
• Patient Intake: Distribute, collect, and review new patient registration forms and medical history questionnaires for completeness.
• Informed Consent: Ensure patients read, understand, and sign all necessary consent-to-treat forms and HIPAA privacy notices.
• Administrative Support: Maintain a clean, organized reception area, scan documents into Electronic Health Records (EHR), and assist medical staff with clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of healthcare administration experience
• Proficiency in multitasking and excellent communication skills

• Technical skills: AllScripts EMR
• Soft skills: Communication, teamwork, organization, multitasking abilities

Schedule


Mon-Fri 8am - 4:30pm.
