Production / Operations Manager | :$120K Base + Bonus | Onsite, San Diego (Carmel Mountain / Poway) Our client is looking for a Production / Operations Manager to lead day?to?day manufacturing operations across a multi?shift production environment. This role will oversee frontline leaders and drive operational performance, efficiency, and accountability on the production floor. This position is ideal for a hands?on manufacturing leader who is comfortable in machining?heavy environments, understands shop floor dynamics, and can stabilize and elevate team performance. - 5–7+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience in a production environment
- 3+ years managing supervisors or frontline leaders in a multi?shift operation
- Experience working in machining, CNC, or similar industrial manufacturing settings
- Strong understanding of production metrics, continuous improvement, and operational KPIs
- Comfortable operating in regulated environments with exposure to quality or compliance standards
- Oversee daily production operations across multiple shifts to ensure output, quality, and delivery targets are met
- Lead, coach, and hold supervisors accountable for performance, safety, and team engagement
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators related to efficiency, quality, and on?time delivery
- Partner with cross?functional teams to resolve production issues and support operational goals
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, process optimization, and workforce effectiveness
- Maintain a visible, hands?on presence on the production floor to support teams and reinforce accountability
