Area Sales Manager

Intuitive Surgical

Intuitive Surgical seeks an Area Sales Manager to drive da Vinci Surgical System sales into hospitals across Long Island. The role involves building surgeon and administrator support, managing the sales process from initial contact through installation, and achieving quarterly targets in an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Manage complex sales process for da Vinci systems into new and existing hospitals
Build surgical advocacy teams and develop relationships with hospital leadership
Create and execute territory sales plan with area director
Organize sales process, develop business case, and resolve contractual issues
Coordinate system installation and handle communications upon purchase approval

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare or capital equipment
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of operating room environment
Proven track record in capital medical equipment sales
Ability to travel up to 50%
Sales management experience preferred

Compensation: $350,000 on-target earnings (base plus commission)
