At Working Capital Marketplace (WCMP) , funding isn't the finish line—it's the beginning of the relationship.

We're looking for a Customer Success Associate who can build lasting relationships with business owners while uncovering future funding opportunities. Although this role manages an existing portfolio of clients, make no mistake, this is a sales development role . Your success comes from staying connected with clients, identifying their future capital needs, and generating renewals, referrals, and additional funding opportunities.

Unlike traditional sales positions, you won't be cold calling strangers. You'll work with an established portfolio of qualified business owners who have already received funding and continue to seek capital as their businesses grow.

What You'll Do

Relationship Development

• Manage an existing portfolio of business owners.
• Conduct Monthly Business Reviews to understand each client's goals and challenges.
• Build trust and become your clients' first call for future financing needs.

Sales Development

• Identify renewal, refinance, and growth opportunities.
• Generate referrals through exceptional relationship management.
• Partner with internal funding teams to help clients secure additional capital.
• Develop opportunities that drive revenue for both your clients and WCMP.

Portfolio Management

• Maintain detailed CRM notes and client records.
• Request and review updated business bank statements.
• Track follow-ups and ensure every client receives proactive communication.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A sales mindset with the ability to uncover opportunities through conversation.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Positive attitude with a team-first mentality.

Preferred

• Experience in Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, Financial Services, Banking, or Lending.
• Salesforce or CRM experience.
• B2B sales experience is a plus.
