Sales Order ProcessorVolt is immediately hiring for a Sales Order Processor in Irvine, CA.As a Sales Order Processor, you will:Support Regional Account Managers with order processing and account management activitiesProcess and confirm customer and wholesaler purchase orders using SAPRespond to customer inquiries regarding orders, product information, pricing, delivery status, and tracking informationManage order fulfillment, shipment coordination, backorders, and order exceptionsReview purchase orders for accuracy, including part numbers, pricing, and order detailsProvide order confirmations, proof of delivery documentation, shipping updates, and tracking informationProcess customer returns, cancellations, freight claims, parcel claims, and sales return authorizationsGenerate shipping labels, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and related shipping documentationCoordinate with freight carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipmentsProcess, audit, distribute, and maintain customer invoices and recordsResearch and resolve shortages, backorders, mis-shipments, and customer service issuesMaintain organized records related to sales orders, returns, customer accounts, and shipping activitiesCollaborate with customers, sales teams, warehouse personnel, and cross-functional departments to ensure exceptional customer serviceEducate customers on return policies, freight claims procedures, and order-related processesPerform other duties as assignedThis is a full-time Temporary opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred5-7 years of experience in customer service, account management, sales administration, order processing, or related rolesHands-on SAP experience supporting order management, customer service, inventory inquiries, and/or returns processingExperience managing customer purchase orders in a distribution, manufacturing, or factory environmentExperience handling returns, cancellations, excess inventory requests, freight claims, parcel claims, and related customer service issuesStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, warehouse personnel, and internal departmentsProven ability to manage order fulfillment, backorders, shipment coordination, and customer inquiriesStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePointPreferred Skills & QualificationsSAP Sales Order Management experienceExperience with FedEx shipping, freight logistics, bills of lading, and commercial invoicesStrong conflict resolution and customer retention skillsExcellent 10-key and numerical data entry skillsTyping speed of 65+ WPM preferredAbility to deliver customer-focused solutions while maintaining a high level of professionalismPositive, team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic and accountabilityAdditional Screening RequirementsTyping Test10-Key TestAptitude Test (Attention to Detail)Basic Excel Knowledge Assessment (if available)Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PMDays: Monday through FridayPay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hourPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick Time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
