Material Handler - 1st Shift


Location: Bentleyville, PA
Pay: $20/hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Opportunity
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM-3:30 PM


Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced and dependable Material Handler for a leading manufacturer of industrial blowers, vacuum systems, and engineered products in Bentleyville, PA. This full-time warehouse and material handling position offers $20/hour, overtime opportunities, long-term stability, and a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one .


The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, moving, staging, organizing, and preparing materials for manufacturing and shipping operations. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory, forklift operation, and material handling equipment .

Material Handler Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming materials from suppliers.
• Use RF scanners, scan guns, computers, and printers to accurately process, identify, and label materials.
• Pull, move, stage, and organize raw materials, components, and parts for production and shipping .
• Package finished products and shipments according to company quality and shipping standards.
• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment .
• Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Maintain accurate material and inventory records.
• Keep the warehouse and work area clean, organized, and safe while following 6S housekeeping practices .
• Follow all company safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures .
• Complete material handling and warehouse tasks independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Assist with additional warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and production duties as assigned.

Material Handler Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, distribution, shipping, receiving, or material handling environment .
• Previous experience with shipping and receiving, inventory management, or warehouse operations .
• Forklift experience required.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, move, stage, and organize materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, scan guns, printers, inventory systems, or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Understanding of workplace safety and material handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
