Role Description The Sales Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position located in Colmar, PA, supporting a State Farm Agent’s office. This role is responsible for engaging prospective and existing customers, identifying their insurance and financial service needs, and recommending appropriate products and solutions. Day-to-day activities include managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling and conducting appointments, preparing quotes, following up on leads, and closing sales in alignment with agency goals. The Sales Specialist also provides customer service support, processes policy changes, and assists with billing inquiries to ensure a positive customer experience. Additional responsibilities may include participating in local marketing activities, maintaining accurate records in agency systems, and supporting training and development initiatives within the office. Qualifications Strong Communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain products clearly and build trust with diverse customers. Customer Service and relationship-building skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support. Sales skills, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing opportunities in a goal-driven environment. Ability to support Training efforts and contribute to basic Sales Management activities such as tracking performance and following processes. Comfort working with computer systems, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms; attention to detail and reliable follow-through. Motivation to meet or exceed individual and agency performance targets; ability to work collaboratively in an office setting. Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or retail sales is beneficial but not required; relevant licenses may be required and can often be obtained after hire.
