GeoTek is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering graduate to join our Hayden, Idaho office as a Staff Professional. This position offers an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, environmental services, project management, and client support.

Working alongside experienced engineers and technical professionals, you will assist with project execution, technical reporting, field and laboratory testing, and client communications while participating in GeoTek's structured mentoring program.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with technical, operational, administrative, and project management activities.
• Prepare and contribute to technical reports for geotechnical, construction materials testing, and environmental projects.
• Perform laboratory and field testing of soils, concrete, and other construction materials in accordance with quality standards.
• Support proposal preparation, technical calculations, project submittals, and project documentation.
• Enter, maintain, and analyze project data to support successful project completion.
• Communicate with clients regarding project updates and scope changes.
• Assist in maintaining project schedules, budgets, contracts, and deliverables.
• Participate in business development and client relationship activities as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Candidates actively preparing for or scheduled to take the FE Exam are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software applications.
• Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise professional judgment.

Additional Requirements

• Must possess a van, truck, SUV, or similar vehicle and be willing to use it for work-related activities.
• Monthly vehicle reimbursement provided.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments.
• Physical requirements vary depending on assigned project responsibilities.
