Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Short Stay

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Weeks: 8
• Guaranteed Hours: 48.00

Requirements:

• Current RN license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor
• Minimum of six months experience in medical surgical nursing in last two years (preferred)
• Minimum of one year experience in pre and post operative diagnostic cath lab (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide pre and post operative care for patients of all ages with diverse healthcare needs.
• Monitor patients for any signs of cardiac or respiratory distress, responding efficiently to emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care protocols and recovery processes.
• Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and manage patient care during critical situations.
• Delegate patient care tasks to ancillary personnel based on demonstrated competencies.
• Review and assess patient medical histories and diagnostics to inform care decisions.

Compliance / Notes:

• Day shift with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Must have current experience with the EMR system
