Job Title: Aerospace CNC Machinist

Location: Clearwater, FL

Employment: Temp to Hire (3 months)

Industry: Aerospace manufacturing

Compensation: $28- $35/hour- (1st shift)

Schedule: 40hours /week

What You'll Do:

• Make machine/setup adjustments to correct defects
• Understand GD&T
• Read mechanical drawings
• Read section views
• Understand tolerances
• Complete testing/assessment questions related to dimensions and drawings
• Read simplified blueprints
• Read mechanical drawings
• Understand section views

• Interpret dimensions and tolerances
• basic mathematics
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail 

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+years of experience in machine operators
• 2+years of experience in setting up and operating 3 Axis Vertical CNC Mills, 4 & 5-Axis Horizontal Mills. Such as: Mori Seiki with Fanuc controls and Grob G350 with client controls

What Sets You Apart:

• 5+years of experience in CNC setup 
• 5+years of experience in Turnkey/setup
• The ability to use basic measurement equipment Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, Dial Bores, Air gages and other equipment as necessary 
• The ability to read simplified blueprints 
• An understanding of basic mathematics 
• Basic computer skills 
• Have the ability to communicate effectively in English 
• Have the ability to work with others as a team 
• Good manual dexterity 
• Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring heads, fixtures, inserts and other accessories 
• Utilize all necessary gages and equipment to properly inspect part accuracy 
• Be able to detect and adjust machines to correct any defect or problem with part setup 
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and have a high attention to detail 
• Knowledge of G and M codes 
• Knowledge and understanding of CNC mill programs 
• Maintain all records required 
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. 
• Following safety, 5s and environmental procedures and regulations.
