This Senior Project Accountant will work closely with project managers and internal teams to ensure accurate project setup, billing, cost tracking, and financial reporting from start through closeout. The ideal Senior Project Accountant is experienced in project-based accounting environments, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.Key ResponsibilitiesManage project billing, job setup, and draw schedules for multiple active projectsPartner with project managers to track costs, updates, and project changesPrepare and submit client billing through external systemsMonitor project financial activity to ensure accuracy and completenessSupport project closeout, including documentation and final reconciliationSenior Project Accountant Qualifications4+ years of project accounting experienceExperience in a construction or project-based accounting environment preferredBachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred (or equivalent experience considered)Experience with project billing, job costing, and financial tracking
