We are committed to delivering excellence through technical expertise, quality service, and strong client partnership Scope Summary maryPerform general Construction Inspection duties relating to the construction of transportation contra Primary Responsibilities litiesPerform resource forecasting for engineering activ ities.Inspect construction activities relating to installation of electrical, communication, and signal equipment and other fix tures.Perform quantity calculations, contract change orders, monthly progress estimates, document controls, and correspon dence.Attend planning and update meetings and record meeting notes to properly update impacted teams on progress and actions req uired.Ensure project files and logs are accurate and up to date.May also be required to coordinate and provide field support to the Resident Engineer by reviewing plans and specifications, providing inspection services, documenting field activities, and coordinating between various departments, as n eeded.Work collaborative with multiple stakeholders and apply appropriate communication techniques to achieve project objec tives.Perform other duties as Requirements and Qualifications fications:B.S degree Bachelor's degree or a B.S in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering from an ABET College (desirable) or Construction ManagementConstruction experience with roads, bridges, transit lines (bus or rail), airports, or major existing operating commercial buildings. Caltrans experienc e desired.Previous experience with public utilities construction manuals; Caltrans’ Construction Manu al a plus.Must be proactive, organized, and work in a fast-paced e nvironmentAlways curious and alway s learningA minimum of 10 years of experience as a construction inspector on transportation facilitiesAt least 2 years of electrical inspection experience with transit systems, toll roads, express lanes, or active traffic managementAlways curious and alway Technical Tools Used in Microsoft Office, Prolog (basic), Wong CMS, MS.
