Travel: Daily travel throughout assigned territory

We're looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to help grow our customer base throughout Central Pennsylvania while delivering exceptional service to existing accounts.

Position Summary

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will manage an assigned Central Pennsylvania territory by building relationships with current customers, identifying new business opportunities, and helping customers find solutions that support their operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing long-term partnerships, working independently, and contributing to a collaborative sales team.

What You'll DoTerritory Management

• Manage and grow an assigned sales territory throughout Central Pennsylvania.

• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community engagement.

• Maintain regular in-person visits with existing customers.

• Build long-term customer relationships through outstanding service and communication.

• Achieve territory sales and growth objectives.

Customer Support

• Recommend foodservice products and solutions based on customer needs.

• Provide product knowledge, menu suggestions, and market insights.

• Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Communicate new products, promotions, and industry trends to customers.

Sales & Business Development

• Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.

• Generate new customer leads and convert prospects into long-term business relationships.

• Partner with brokers and manufacturer representatives to introduce new products.

• Participate in food shows, manufacturer events, customer demonstrations, and training opportunities.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate customer information within the company CRM.

• Monitor territory performance and prepare sales forecasts.

• Process credits, customer requests, and required documentation accurately and on time.

• Assist with manufacturer recalls by notifying customers and completing required documentation.

• Collaborate with Purchasing, Transportation, Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, and other internal departments.

QualificationsRequired

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Ability to travel daily throughout an assigned Central Pennsylvania territory.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.

• Foodservice sales experience.

• Restaurant management or culinary experience.

• Outside sales experience.

• Experience building business relationships and developing new accounts.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:
