About the Role:

Walk Of Life Residential Care Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Fairfield, CA. In this rewarding ARF DSP role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in our care during part-time weekday AM shifts, and AM / PM weekend shifts. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to residents in an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) setting during during part-time weekday AM shifts, and AM / PM weekend shifts
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation
• Implement individualized care plans and support residents in achieving personal goals
• Administer medications and document accurately in compliance with facility and state regulations
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being to supervisors
• Facilitate community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement opportunities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive residential environment for all clients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), caregiver, or in a residential care setting preferred
• Knowledge of ARF regulations and Title 22 compliance is a plus
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Must pass a background check and health screening as required by California state regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work part-time weekday AM shifts, and AM / PM weekend shiftsas as scheduled
• Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor
• Valid California driver's license preferred
• DSP 1 or DSP 2 certification preferred
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check and health screening/TB test
