Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact in patient care by supporting a fast-paced radiology department as an experienced Imaging Radiology Technologist. This contract opportunity seeks a skilled professional dedicated to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging using advanced X-ray technology.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Valid state license or eligibility (as applicable)
- Proven clinical experience as an X-ray or Radiology Tech
- Strong knowledge of radiologic safety protocols and best practices
- Experience with digital imaging equipment and related technology
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a busy clinical setting
Schedule/Hours:
- Schedule details to be discussed with qualified candidates
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray images according to physician orders
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results in clinical records
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff for coordinated care
- Maintain equipment and follow strict safety standards for radiation protection
- Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients during exams
- Stay current with advances in imaging technology and best practices
