General Summary….

The Clerical III perform clerical work requiring application of various work methods and procedures, and familiarity with departmental functions, policies, and practices.

This position will be responsible for…..

• Processing incoming mail and completes filing using the established filing system.
• Check, analyze and organize materials, conducting limited search of records when necessary.
• Index records and information, keeping current the established filing system.
• Make postings to various department records and prepare reports involving tabulations or posted data and simple math calculations.
• Receive and issue receipt of payment for licenses, permits, certificates, bonds, service, etc. Issue licenses, permits, certificate and other legal documents and/or titles in accordance with departmental rules and regulations.
• Calculating, preparing and issuing bills for documents or services.
• Thorough understanding and adherence of safety rules and regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Relies on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish tasks.
• Assist other department employees for completion of more difficult assignments.
• Work under general supervision.
• Other duties as assigned or requested

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent education and 2-4 years relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.
