Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the provision of high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain meticulous patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay ahead of advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Exceptional technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
