Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure a comfortable and safe experience for patients during procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately document exams and update patient records in the electronic medical record system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent designation
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
