Military Sales Director

Teledyne Controls LLC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Military Sales Director to join our team. As a senior member of our customer-facing team, you will shape and execute strategies to increase demand for our suite of avionic and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions across new, existing government customers. This role blends sales, business development, and program oversight for a critical part of our business. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in complex defense sales cycles, outstanding relationship-building for government and a proven track record of securing multi-million-dollar contracts with DoD and government aviation stakeholders. We’re looking for a self-motivated professional to spearhead customer engagement, capture new opportunities, and own the full life cycle pursuit of large-scale programs – from initial bid identification/positioning to contract award and delivery alignment**Key Responsibilities:**Lead contract requirements and pricing negotiations.**Required Qualifications**: Must be a US Citizen with the ability to attain and maintain government security clearance. Experience in U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and foreign military procurement and sales. International government entities a plus. Minimum 10 years of related experience selling or working with avionic and aircraft systems programs for military/government accounts. Familiarity or experience with the U.S Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industry. Demonstrated leadership ability and business acumen. Ability to develop networks and contacts to facilitate domestic and international military/government sales.Ability to prepare and conduct presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
