Here’s what makes this opportunity different: 1–5 years of litigation experience? You do not need prior Medical Malpractice or Insurance Defense experience. If you have solid litigation experience and want to make the move, the firm is willing to train the right attorney. 5+ years of experience? Prior Medical Malpractice, Insurance Defense, Public Entity Defense, or General Liability experience is preferred. However, exceptional litigators from other practice areas are still encouraged to apply. No culture of consistent nights or weekend work Strong mentorship and training from experienced litigators Opportunity to handle meaningful, high‑exposure litigation and take ownership of cases Collaborative team environment with experienced partners and strong support staff You’ll represent municipalities, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and other prominent California clients in sophisticated, high‑impact litigation while continuing to grow your courtroom and case‑management skills. Qualifications: 1+ years of litigation experience Prior Medical Malpractice, Insurance Defense, Public Entity Defense, or General Liability experience is preferred for more senior attorneys Attorneys from other litigation backgrounds who are interested in transitioning into these practice areas are strongly encouraged to apply Strong writing, advocacy, and case‑management skills Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $225,000 .
