Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x12-hour shifts | Evening shifts: 11:00–23:30 or 15:00–03:30 | Includes weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patient populations in a fast-paced ED environment
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required
• Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (AHA only) required
• TNCC certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher, with 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills across both adult and pediatric populations
• Comfort with floating to complementary units as needed
