Finance Lead, Purchase Based Contracting

AbbVie seeks a Finance Lead to manage discount and pricing contracts across multiple products and distribution channels. The role involves contract implementation, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration within the Purchase-Based Contracting function.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert for analysts on Oncology and other products across wholesaler and GPO contracts
  • Independently manage assigned contract portfolio while providing guidance on multiple workstreams
  • Represent PBC on system evaluation and process improvement initiatives including Pramata, GIA, and Model N
  • Partner with Brand, Market Access, Pricing, and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
  • Lead special projects and support SOX compliance and audit-related requests

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 6+ years progressive experience in contracts and pricing
  • Subject matter expert knowledge of Model N software
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Ability to provide indirect leadership across multiple workstreams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience interacting with senior management in matrixed organizations
