Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x12.0 - Rotating Day/Eve/Night Schedules, with floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback requirements.

Job Description

Join our fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED), a state-of-the-art facility that manages over 100,000 visits annually and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population and assisting with boarder patients. Please note that first-time travelers are not supported in the Emergency Room.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry monitoring.
• Assist with the treatment of boarder patients and trauma cases.
• Collaborate with medical staff and provide support during emergencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License (New York ONLY)
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the Emergency Department
• Telemetry experience is required
• Previous travel ER experience is mandatory
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY), ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY), NIHSS
